1st Chronicles chapter 13..just from where we stopped..story about the ark of covenant and Obededom

Sure we have heard this before


From verse 1-4 

Was about how David gathered captains and said unto them to go get back the ark of covenant.

Which they agreed to do so for the thing was right in front of all the people


And they carried the ark of God in a new cart out of Abinadab and Uzza and Ahio drave the cart..


Verse 8: said they danced and sang with their harps before God


And when they came  unto the threshingfloor of Chidon, uzza put forth his hand to hold the ark for the oxen stumbled.


The Lord was angry with the Lord and the Lord smote him and he died because he put his hand to the ark


And you know David was afraid of God that day saying 

How shall I bring the ark of the Home to me


Because of what he had seen


So David decided not to bring the ark home to himself to the city of David but carried it aside into house of Obededom the gittite


Verse 14: says that the ark of God was in His house 3 months and the Lord blessed him and all that he had


This is just the brief summary of the chapter


For me...we ourselves are seen like the ark of God..

Anyone who has watched the mount Zion movie ( apoti eri)


In the movie..those who tried to touch this boy ( apoti eri,)  were all punished Same as our lives too


Anyone who tries to touch we as the ark of God get punished too..because we are the ark of God..( Apoti erioluwa)


Therefore anyone who tries to touch me( Ibukunoluwa) ark of the covenant of God will be punished by God..


This should be our confession


No sickness, no disease, no infirmity can be found in us because we are the ark of God..


And it is a big error for sickness to he found in the ark of God.


Also another lesson is obededom...see how things changed for him just because he allowed the ark of covenant in his home


Same as when we do away with Sin and allow out bodies preserved as the one who is the ark of Covenant


We see things turn around for us


You can't call yourself the ark of Covenant and still toy with sin and be expecting this to change for you...o wrong Sir/ ma
