This chapter is about God's covenant with David. When David was dwelling in his house, he felt distraught because the Arka of the Lord was in a tent, while he himself was in a beautiful cedar house. ... Nathan told him that he should do whatever he feels is right because the Lord God of Israel is with him.

The Lord said that when David’s days are fulfilled, he will join his fathers. It will be David’s son who will build the Lord a house, and God will establish him a kingdom. David felt humbled before the Lord, and asked who he was to be able to receive such blessings.

The question is are you humble to receive uncommon favour and help

Please be humble especially in the things of GOD .

Also can the work of our hand produce uncommon favour

Depending on what you sow ( Always sow good seed)

word God has spoken shall be established forever, so that His name will be magnified and glorified. He thanked God for revealing to him that the house of the Lord will be established and that His Kingdom will be built.

When David

says “Who am I, O Lord God, and what is my house, that

you have brought me thus far” David knows he isn’t worthy

of this great blessing. He knows that this is God’s doing

and this admission of “who am I” at least demonstrates

some humility on David’s part.

Do you know we are humble when we serve God in spirit and in truth

E.g for the fact that you are here tonight shows that you are humble you respect GOD

Because you are here tonight GOD will give you a package that will open up the year for you

I think everybody wants somebody to treat them good.

When someone treats you good, it’s only right to at least

try to show your appreciation.  Sometimes mere words

don’t seem to be enough.  And when somebody is really, I

mean really, good to you, all you can do, at least all I can

do is thank God for them.  I hope somebody has been

good to you.

David walked into the tent to pray his prayer it was

with the full knowledge of how good God had been to him

and to his people.  I can imagine David sat in awe of the

goodness of God.  I can imagine him thinking how good

God had been to him down through the years. At this

point, all he could really do was thank God and give God praise.

The best we can give to God after all he has done to us is to appreciate n thank him in every situation

In that way, God plan for us will come to manifestation

And we begin to boom in God's glory
